The challenge
This restaurant painting and decorating in Dalkeith project was completed for Cavaliere, a family-run Italian restaurant on High Street. We were commissioned to transform the relatively plain interior into a warmer and more refined restaurant environment using high-quality decorative finishes, feature lighting and carefully selected materials.
Our expertise
We began by protecting the existing flooring and preparing all surfaces throughout the restaurant. This included stripping existing wallpaper, carrying out wall preparation and skimming where required, sanding timber elements and preparing areas for French polishing. Ceilings and walls were then decorated using Farrow & Ball Estate Emulsion in a matt finish.
